Hosted by resident wine & cheese Gurus Cameron and Terry with a special guest appearance Robbie Potts from Bleasdale wines.

Bleasdale is a 170 year old family owned business.

Bleasdale has an impressive collection of trophies to its name and most recently in 2019, they won the epitome of excellence in the wine industry; The Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy.

Whilst they do make fantastic white wines, it would be fair to say Bleasdale is most renowned for their red wines.

How the night will play out?

  • Meeting will be live 15 minutes prior to the session, you will be emailed the Zoom link the morning of the session


  • Hosts Terry from South Wharf Restaurants and Cam from Negotiants Wine to welcome


  • We'll settle in at 5.30pm, have our Prosecco and the first soft curd cheese for an opportunity to re-create an adult version of a childhood favourite, the ice-cream spider.


  • Robbie and Cam will then walk through the wines and cheeses sharing knowledge and discussing the wines in a casual way and encouraging engagement from all attending.


  • Conclusion at 7.30pm

Learn how easy it is to make your own Chinese dumplings and spring rolls at home!

Our dumpling making guru will walk you through the art of making your own beautiful dumplings and spring rolls in this hands on and interactive online Zoom meeting classroom from the comfort of your own kitchen.

You will learn to make your own dumplings we will then fill with 2 different fillings:

Chicken & Chive or Seasonal Asian Vegetables & Bean Curd which is 100% vegan

We'll also take you through making your own dipping sauces to enjoy your delicious creations!

All you need is a small saucepan, bamboo steam basket (which you can purchase from us), some canola oil, ​a reliable internet connection and PC with Google Chrome browser or digital device capable of supporting Zoom video conferencing.  We'll deliver the ingredients required to your door the day prior!

Learn to make your own sausages and go on to create your own exciting flavours in the future!  An extremely popular class presented by the team at Common Man South Wharf.

In this interactive online cooking class you can learn the art of mixing ingredients to make the perfect sausage and how to fill the casings so you can enjoy the fruits of your labour.  Our sausage making expert will guide you through the steps in an online classroom and also demonstrate how you can mince your meat yourself if you have a mincer.

Choose your preferred meat and flavouring

  • Chicken + Fresh Chives & Garlic 


  • Wagyu + Sage, Thyme and Rosemary 


  • Greek Lamb + Red Wine, Oregano, All Spice & Paprika


  • Vietnamese Beef + Ginger, Garlic, Chilli, Lemongrass & Coriander 

Also available to purchase is your very own mincer.  This is not required for the class but a great option if you would like to take your sausage making to the next level.  A youTube video created by us is available to walk you through this next step after you have mastered the basics.

With each class we will provide the sausage skins, sausage stuffer and mincer that you can use for the class and well into the future and raw ingredients of your choice to prepare approximately 6 sausages and a Zoom link to dial into your class.

Porchetta Making Master Class - Book Now

 Culinary Skill Required :: Intermediate

With the cooler months on the way in why not master the art of making the perfect porchetta at home?  The team at Meat Market South Wharf are heading online to take you through how to make your own from de-boning to the perfect stuffing and how to make your own delicious gravy.

The team will deliver the raw ingredients to your door including some fresh and delicious side veggies to roast along side your creation then you can join the Zoom link at the class time from the comfort of your own kitchen asking questions of our chef and joining others that have the same passion for food.

You will only need equipment found in your own home such as an oven, sharp knife and chopping board.

The class will consist of the following:

​De-boning your pork belly
Scoring the meat for the perfect crackling
Rubbing and flavouring the meat
Creating the stuffing
Preparing the veggies
Making gravy

​​We will get you to the point of popping in the oven and leave you with our youTube video which outlines the last few steps of cooking your delicious meals.

With each class we will provide the pork belly, raw ingredients to feed approximately 2 people and a Zoom link to dial into your class.  You can purchase additional ingredients if you are cooking for more than two.
